Jodi Ann Cuperus/Dennis was born on September 9 1962
in Laverne Minnesota, to Erwin & Lois Cuperus
Jodi attended Western Christian H.S in Hull Iowa and later Spencer School of Business.
Jodi moved to Arizona after graduating and worked at Avis Rental Car at Sky Harbor Airport, where she met Tom, who worked for Southwest Airlines. They dated for four years before marrying on August 9 1986 in Iowa. They have two daughters, Randi and Sierra, and a son, Tommy.
Jodi home schooled her children.
Jodi loved to coach volleyball and started her coaching career at Dobson H.S in Mesa AZ, then at Gilbert Christian School, as well as club volleyball for Club One. Jodi later refereed volleyball.
Jodi loved the game and working with the girls.
She had her greatest success coaching at East Valley Athletes for Christ, where she won 3 State Volleyball Championships with her daughters.
Jodi was passionate about helping people and volunteering. She regularly volunteered at Feed My Starving Children and Mission of Hope for Haiti. Jodi made several trips to Haiti, helping at the orphanages in the country.
Her smile and passion to follow Christ will be missed.
Jodi is survived by husband Tom, daughters Randi and Sierra and son Tommy, her mother Lois, sister Pam (husband Gerald Grave) and brothers Bruce and Philip. Her mother in law Jackie Dennis, her two sisters in laws Tammy and Todd Brown, Tracy and Terry Cook.
Proceeded in death by her infant daughter Angelia, her father Erwin Cuperus and father in law Mike Dennis.
The Dennis family would like to invite all who knew
and loved Jodi to her celebration of life service.
The service will be held at Heart Cry Church in Queen Creek
at 2 o'clock on the 17th of November.
