Mrs Joan Marie Shine O'Leary

Joan Marie O’Leary, born October 6, 1933 in Buffalo, NY to Thomas and Charlotte [Pellettier] Shine, passed away in Phoenix, AZ on September 11, 2014 at the age of 80. She went home to be with her Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ. Joan was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother, sister and friend to all who knew her. Joan's greatest joy was in reading God's Word, attending church and Lady's Bible Study. At age 51, Joan received her Associate’s Degree in Accounting and loved preparing tax returns. She loved caring for her family and spending as much time with them as she could. Joan was preceded in death by her parents; her siblings Betty Ann Burns, Thomas Shine, John “Jack” Shine and James “Jimmy” Shine; her son John Richard “Jack” (Amanda) O’Leary as well as her beloved husband John (Jack) O’Leary, who passed away on December 22, 2000. She is survived by her son Robert "Bob" (Claudia) O'Leary, her daughters Sharon (John) Myszewski, Diane (Phil) Liberatore and Kathleen (George) Guynn; and her grandchildren Robert "Bobby" O’Leary, Shannon O’Leary, Heather Lehmann, John "Jack" O’Leary V, Thomas "Tom" O’Leary, Kelly Myszewski, James "Jimmy" Myszewski, Phillip Liberatore, Jennifer "Jeni" Long, Christie Kuna, Michael "Mike" Liberatore, Susan LeClair, Melissa "Missy" Liberatore and Ashley O’Leary and 10 Great Grandchildren. A celebration of her life will be held on Saturday at 11 am, September 20, 2014 at Mariposa Gardens Cemetery Chapel, 6747 E. Broadway Rd, in Mesa, AZ.
