Joan I. Monte, 91 passed away June 3, 2024 after a brief illness. Born 1932 in Toledo, Ohio to Glen and Katherine Woodworth. She attended Woodward High School. In 1950 she married Joe Bushroe (deceased 2019).
She was a photographer for the Lion Store in Toledo for many years.
She moved to Arizona in 1977 and co-owned many businesses including Pinewood Day Care in Mesa. She also was a volunteer director at Child Crisis Center for 10 years and a volunteer at Banner Baywood for 20+ years.
In 1996 she married Larry Monte (deceased 2022). They had 26 wonderful years together.
She is survived by her 4 children Joe Jr. (Sabine), Kathy Spychalski (Chris), Karyn McDonald (Dave), Jennifer Mannon (Tim), 8 Grandchildren and 14 Great Grandchildren.
Celebration of Life Service will be at a later date.
