Joan Blasi, 78, of Mesa, Arizona passed away on January 27th, 2011. Grew up in Bronx, NY. Employed 23 years for New York Telephone and Mountain Bell. Enjoyed creating stained glass, playing games (Scrabble, canasta, computer), bowling, and watching Jeopardy. Survived by cherished husband Bill. Loving mother of Joan, Frank, Veronica, Barbara. Proud grandmother of Brandon, Michael, Matthew, Candice, David, RJ, Erika. Caring great-grandmother (GGma) of Adaly, Michael, Ben, Abbie. Funeral mass to be held at St. George's Catholic Church Monday, January 31st, 10am 300 E. 16th Ave. Apache Junction. Viewing to be held at Mariposa Gardens Sunday January 30th, 2-4 & 7-9pm, 7pm prayer service 400 S. Power Rd. Mesa.
