Jerry Carlos Wood

Jerry Carlos Wood of Mesa, AZ passed away in his home on July 6, 2023. He was born in Salt Lake City, Utah on August 10, 1941. Jerry is the second son of Theo and Ruth Wood. Jerry graduated from Granite High SLC, Utah and spent 2 years at the University of Utah. He was married to Nolene Call Wiehl on December 4, 1980, in the Mesa, Arizona Temple. Jerry had a career in Commercial Plumbing for 37 years at Irontree Construction. He was a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints and had a passion for off road racing, camping, gardening, traveling and antiques.

Jerry is survived by his spouse Nolene and 7 children; Duane Wiehl, Debra Carpenter, Christian Wood, Denice Smith, Cydney Bower, Court Wood, Diane Thomas, and 36 grandchildren and 37 great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his; first wife Jacquelyn “Tina” Draper Wood, daughter Donna Hotchkiss-Patten, parents Theo and Ruth Wood, brother Larry Wood, sister Vicki Kluth, 2 granddaughters, and 1 great grandson.
