James Lee Cary, born January 5, 1931 in Goodland, KS to Vern and Matilda [Feikert] Cary, passed away on July 11, 2011 in Mesa, AZ at the age of 80. James, a beloved husband, father, grandpa "Papa" and friend was survived by his wife of almost 58 years, Marie F. Cary; son Matthew Cary; daughter Eloise (Clark) Schwartzkopf; granddaughter Brooke (12) and Grandson Cole (10) and his mother Matilda “Tillie”. He is preceded in death by his father Vern. Jim, who was a veteran of the U.S. Air Force and had a long career as an air-traffic controller.
