Isabel Marie Salazar

Isabel Salazar, 76, of Mesa, Arizona passed away on November 29th, 2015. She was born in La Junta, Colorado December 23rd, 1938 to Joe Olguin and Phyllis Gonzales. Isabel went to school in La Junta, Colorado. She married Joe Salazar on November 22, 1958. She was an active member of Queen of Peace Catholic Church. Isabel loved life. She was a loving wife, mother, sister, grandmother and friend to all. She loved family gatherings at her home. She enjoyed going to the casino and playing Bingo. She will be forever missed by family and friends whom she loved dearly. She is survived by her three sons Gary, Phillip and Nathan Salazar; her two daughters Jeanie Martinez, Debra Garcia along with 14 grandchildren, 33 great-grandchildren and 2 great-great grandchildren. Isabel is preceded in death by her parents Joe Olguin and Phyllis Gonzales; her sister Emma Salazar; her daughter Debra Kay Salazar and most recently by her husband Joe Blas Salazar. A Visitation will be held from 5-7pm with a 6pm Rosary Sunday, December 6, 2015 at Melcher Mortuary Chapel of the Roses 43 S. Stapley Dr. Mesa, AZ 85204. A Funeral Service will be held at 10am Monday, December 7, 2015 at Queen of Peace Catholic Church 141 N. MacDonald, Mesa, Arizona. Interment will follow at Queen of Heaven Cemetery 1562 E. Baseline Rd. Mesa, AZ 85204. Isabel will be missed by all, but we will always have her memories in our heart.
