Howard H. Parlette Jr, 83, of Mesa Arizona passed away suddenly at his home on November 5, 2020.
Howard was born on July 13, 1937 to Howard and Mary Parlette in Columbus, Ohio. During his 40 years in Ohio, Howard enjoyed hunting and fishing, and was a huge Buckeye fan. He served in the Ohio Air National Guard and began his career as a carpenter by helping his father build houses. He later worked at The Ohio State University as maintenance foreman, even meeting Woody Hayes while there. His skill with carpentry carried with him when he moved to Phoenix, Arizona in 1977 and was employed with the Roosevelt School District as a carpenter/cabinet maker until he retired in 1995. Soon after he arrived in Arizona, he married Janet Bigham to whom he remained married until her passing in 2004.
Howard is preceded in death by his father Howard Sr, his mother Mary, and wife Janet. Howard is survived by his daughters Terri Ruh and Liz Roose, half sister Cindy Viles, stepdaughter Stacey Lane and her son Travis Lane; grandchildren Jeannie, Lindsay, Phoebe, Audrey, Dale, and Valerie; and seven great grandchildren.
