Zickefoose, Heather Johnson ,38, of Mesa AZ passed away on August 10, 2014. Heather was born in Minneapolis in 1976. She grew up in the mountains of Wyoming and Colorado. After attending Baylor University and Northern Colorado University she married Jim Zickefoose October 10th, 1998. They lived in Denver, Phoenix and Jackson Hole until 2006 when they permanently settled in the Valley of the Sun. Heather enjoyed outdoor mountain activities but her favorite activity was water sports. Heather could be found in her pool whenever she was not extending a helping hand to her friends and relatives. Survived by: Husband: Jim, Father: Mark Johnson (Ann Wife), Mother : Nancy Weeks, Grandmother: Rita White, Cousins: Susan Solander, Matthew Ferguson, Chad Mikkelson, Holly Levine, Libby Rusink, and Hallie Sorenson. Memorial service Saturday 8/16, 11AM at Red Mountain United Methodist Church, 2936 N. Power Rd, Mesa. Donations to Wounded Warriors Foundation in lieu of flowers.
