Grace "Gracie" B. Thiele

March 3, 1929 - April 11, 2014

Grace Bernice Thiele, 85, of Mesa, Arizona, passed away on Friday, April 11, 2014.

She was born March 3, 1929 in Los Angeles, California to the late Clyde Milton and

Mathilda DauSchmidt Overton. She married Robert D. Thiele Sr. on December 29, 1946

and was married for 65 years.

After working and raising her family, she decided to go back to school during the time that her

eldest son was in Vietnam. Grace earned her B.A. Degree in Health Science from U.C.L.A.

and worked as a Medical Records Technician in California. In 1981 she and her husband

packed up and moved from California to Mesa, Arizona.

Survivors include her sons, Robert D. Thiele Jr. (Christine) of Salem, N.H., and Randall

Craig Thiele (Jayne) of Minden, NV.; grandchildren, Randy Thiele Jr. of Corona, CA., Bryan

(Andrea)Thiele of Surprise, AZ, Linda K. Thiele of La Habra, CA, Rob (Loren)Thiele and

Kelli (Bob) Blagen of Gilbert, AZ along with 16 great-grandchildren, Cadenn, Meske, Cailee,

Coral, Eyob, Chris, Chloe, Sami, Cyilea, Colton, Branson, Nate, Nicole, Brooke, Brayden and

Brody.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband Robert Thiele Sr. who

passed on February 25,2012 in Mesa, AZ; sisters, Marge Overton, Mary Turek, Dorothy

Puckett and brothers, Jim and Leonard Overton.

Inurnment will be at Mariposa Gardens Memorial Park, 6747 East Broadway Road, Mesa,

Arizona 85206.
