Fred W. Eddy, passed away on October 24, 2010 in Mesa, AZ at the age of 72. Fred was born an only child on Aug. 10, 1938 on his grandparent’s farm outside Marion, Indiana to Fred and Viola Eddy. At an early age he moved to California later returning to Marion where he graduated from Marion High School in 1957. Fred was a man of honor and integrity and joined the United States Air Force after graduation and served his country in the Vietnam War retiring as a Master Sergeant after 20 years of service. He then started his second career with Garrett (Honeywell) from 1977 to 1997. Fred loved all sports, camping, traveling and especially riding his old Schwinn bike and playing cards with his grandchildren. Fred is survived by the love of his life, Patsy, his wife of 52 years; sons Steven (Cindy), Fred Jr., Kevin (Denise) and daughter Kelly Ann as well as 8 grandchildren and 3 great grandchildren. Fred was a wonderful husband, father and friend and will be missed by all. A celebration of his life will be held at 11:00 am, Wednesday, November 3, 2010 at Mariposa Gardens Cemetery Chapel, 6747 E.
