Frank Herbert Trombly, 70, of Apache Junction, AZ passed away Tuesday, March 16, 2010. He was born Oct. 2, 1939 to Frank and Mary (Shea) Trombly of Manchester, NH. He was a graduate of Manchester Central High School class of 1958 and NH Votech. Frank served proudly in the US Army during the Vietnam War as a specialist 4th Class. He was a licensed plumber and a member of the UA Plumbing & Pipefitters Union Local #131 of NH and Local 693 of Vermont. He was a member of the Elks Lodge Post # 1566 and a Commander of American Legion Post # 1 both of St. Albans, VT. After retirement he moved to Arizona where he enjoyed bowling, playing pool, travel and spending time with family and the many friends he made.
He is preceded in death by his loving wife Janice G. Machia-Trombly. He is survived by his beloved children: Caroline and Patrick, ”Mike” Zeller of Apache Junction, AZ, Patricia Trombly of VT. Tina Machia and Danny & Carol Boomhower both of St. Albans, VT, Ronda & Ronald Porter and Bradley Machia both of Swanton, VT; 12 cherished grandchildren, 6 adored great grandchildren; sisters: Catherine (John) Latham of Walpole, MA, Constance (Cecil) Williams of Litchfield, NH; brothers: James (Denise) Trombly of Marco Island, Fl, William Trombly of Manchester, NH and Daniel Trombly of St. Johnsburg, VT, and numerous nieces and nephews.
Visitation for Mr. Trombly will be held Friday, March 19, 2010 at Mariposa Gardens Funeral Care, 400 S. Power Road, Mesa, AZ from 5 to 8 PM. Funeral services will be held on Sat. March 20, 2010 at St. George’s Catholic Church, 300 E. 16th, Ave. Apache Junction, AZ, where a rosary will be recited at 8:30 am, with a funeral mass to follow at 9:00.
