Francis Joseph Heintz

He worked as a mailer for the Chicago Tribune before being drafted into Vietnam, where he served as a cook for the boys up in Colorado. He worked for the Tribune and the Sun-Times from 1957 to 1986. In 1986, he moved to Mesa, Arizona, and joined the AZ Republic, where he worked until his stroke in 2004.

He was a loving and devoted husband, father, grandfather, great-grandfather, but more than anything, he was our Papa. Our eternally cheerful Papa; faded, but never forgotten.

A celebration of life for Francis will be held Tuesday, June 27, 2023 at 12:00 PM at Advantage Funeral & Cremation Services – Melcher Roses, 43 South Stapley Drive, Mesa, Arizona 85204.
