Mrs. Evelyn E. Edwards Chase

Evelyn E. Chase, 92 of Mesa, Arizona, passed away on August 6, 2011. She was the daughter of Charles and Helen Edwards; born in Pittsburg, Kansas. Evelyn was a devoted mother as well as an English teacher. She was also devoted to her church and gave much of her time to its work. Evelyn married her husband Gerald W. Chase on November 27, 1941. Gerald recently passed away . The couple would have been married 70 years in November. Evelyn is survived by her sons: Warren (Victoria), Charles (Julie), daughters: Martha (Alfred) Gram, Charlotte (Sudduth) Cummings, six grandchildren and 2 great grandchildren.

Funeral Services will be held on Thursday, August 25th, at the East Mesa Christian Church, 706 S. Greenfield Road, Mesa, AZ 85206. A committal service will be held at 9:30 am, Friday, August 26th, National Memorial Cemetery of Arizona, 23029 N. Cave Creek Road, Phoenix.
