Eric Rolf Seeger

Eric R. Seeger, 82, of Tempe, AZ passed away peacefully on Thursday, November 22nd, 2018. Eric was born in Indianapolis, Indiana on April 28th, 1936 to Homer and Irma Seeger and grew up in Oak Park, IL. Eric met Joan Maka in 1952 and married her on February 6th, 1960 in IL. Eric is survived by his children, Patti and Rich Milder of Phoenix, Linda Seeger of Scottsdale, Eric and Lynnette Seeger of Tempe, Scott and Gigi Seeger of Tempe; grandchildren Michael Ring, Darcy and Mike Maciel , Ryan Blackerby, Jessica Seeger, Shelby Seeger, Lily Seeger, Miranda Seeger and Shan Naihe; great grandchildren, Adriana Naihe, Brielle Maciel; sister, Karin and Bob Zima.

Eric was a veteran of the Army for 3 years from 1955 – 1957.

Eric also was a member of the Knights of Columbus for over 40 years, where he held positions as Grand Knight in the 3rd Degree and then Faithful Navigator in the 4th Degree.

A celebration of his life will be held on Monday December 17th, 2018 at 10am with a luncheon right after the mass at Resurrection Catholic Church at 3201 S Evergreen Rd in Tempe, AZ 85282.

In lieu of flowers, contributions in his memory may be made to Resurrection Catholic Church or the Diabetes Foundation.
