Elaine Marie Crossman, 75, of Mesa, Arizona and previously of Yucaipa California passed away on November 1, 2022 surrounded by her family and loved ones. Elaine was born on December 22, 1946 to Alice and Rankin McIntyre. After Elaine graduated in 1965 from Warren High School in Downey California she went on to get married to Derryl Crossman, who she met at an LDS church event. Elaine and Derryl went on to have 6 beautiful children, Timothy, Jennifer, Jeremy, Elizabeth, Rachel and Andrew. Elaine said it was the best time of her life while raising her children. She was a dedicated mother and wife and took care of her family with great love and compassion. After Derryl graduated Law School the family settled in Yucaipa California, where she lived for 29 years. Elaine was an active member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints. She held many callings like, primary chorister, seminary teacher, Relief Society President, all of which she was beloved by those she ministered. Elaine had a beautiful soprano voice, which she used faithfully. Elaine loved to sing in Choirs, solos and whenever she was asked. After raising her children Elaine went on to get a degree in English for California State San Bernardino. She loved to learn and grow. She was a blessing to all those that knew her.
Elaine is preceded in death by Her son, Timothy Charles Crossman, her Father, Rankin Wheeler McIntyre, her Mother Alice Marie (Johnson) McIntyre. She is survived by her Husband, Derryl Crossman of Mesa, Arizona, Jeremy Crossman(Kathleen) of San Mateo California, Rachel Eldredge(Brandon) of Mesa Arizona, Andrew Crossman of Yucaipa California and 13 Grandchildren, 2 Great grand children and scores of not adopted grandchildren. She loved and adored all of them.
Arizona Services will be held at Mariposa Gardens Memorial Park in Mesa Arizona on November 19, 2022 at 11:00. A light Luncheon will be held after the services.
California Services will be held at The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints in Yucaipa California on December 3, 2022 at 10:00. A light luncheon will be served.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations to be made to The Alzheimer's Association.
