Edward J Cole

Edward J. Cole,(Mr. Ed) born, August 29, 1925 in Glidden, IA, passed away April 15, 2012 at the age of 86 in Mesa, AZ. Edward was a veteran of the U.S. Coast Guard serving during WWII. Edward served in the ,Middle Eastern Campaign ,American Theater,European-African,Asiatic-Pacific Area. He qualified for "Shellback"and a member of the order of the Golden Dragon. He graduated from Reed College in Portland Oregon He also holds a degree in Electral Engineering from MIT. Edward was a very active member of the Arizona Amature Radio Club, Call letter KB7RMO. Edward is survived by his loving wife, Gloria; son Christopher Sr.; daughters Tracy and Amanda; step children, David and Denise; five grandchildren Ruben, Taryn, Christopher Jr., Chloe, Vidia, Naomi and Steven and one brother George (Dianne). A memorial service will be held 3:00 pm, Sunday, May 6, 2012 at Legacy Retirement Community, Mesa, AZ. In Lieu of flowers donations can be made in his name at SunVally Hospice orArizona Humane Society.
