Diane is predeceased by her father George Hoffman, mother La Vern Hoffman and her sister Marlene Bush, and husband Harold “Lee” Jamison.
Diane is survived by her sons Vance Varholdt (Julie) and Layne Varholdt (Ernie) and daughter Tara Niccum. Diane is lovingly remembered by her grandchildren Vance II (Jolie), Christopher (Genevieve), Daniel, Chase and Kemper, her great grandchildren Aidan, Annika and Vance III and sister-in-law and brother-in-law Kathy and Jim Jamison, niece Angie Jamison and nephew Bryan Jamison.
Diane was born in Minneapolis, Minnesota on August 25,1943. She was married to John “Boots” Varholdt from 1959-1969. Then married Harold “Lee” Jamison 1969 till his death 1973.
Diane and Lee relocated from Minneapolis to Tempe in 1969 and most of their family followed shortly after. Diane was a strong woman and mother, raising 3 children on her own after the tragic passing of her husband Lee in 1973.
She worked as a Real Estate agent for more than 30 years in the Phoenix area and made many lifelong friends during her career. She also worked as a loan service agent for Chase in her later years. She lived in Tempe, Chandler and Mesa the reminder of her life.
She loved being with her family whenever she could, watching her grandchildren and great grandchildren grow and flourish.
The Celebration of Life for Diane will be held at Vance and Julie Varholdt’s house, August 15, 2021 between 1:00pm to 4:00pm; 4601 S Kachina Drive, Tempe, Arizona 85282
