DeWayne William Byrnes, 82, of Chandler, Arizona, passed away on August 22, 2011. He retired after 30 years in the United States Air Force. He was predeceased by his wife Sondra and he is survived by his six children, sons; DeWayne II (Kathleen), Terence (Judy), Kevin (Karen), daughters; Shawn Moos, Susan (Richard) Saltos, and Shannon Byrnes, brother, Larry Byrnes, 13 grandchildren and 5 great grandchildren.
Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Wednesday, August 31, 2011, 11:00 am, at the Parish of St. Benedict, 16223 S. 48th Street, Phoenix, Arizona. Military Honors and committal of DeWayne’s and Sondra’s cremated remains will take place at 1:30 pm, National Memorial Cemetery of Arizona, 23029 N. Cave Creek, Phoenix, AZ.
