Dena Rombakis

Dena is survived by her only child,

Lisa Vanecko, her mother Stella Rombakis, and nephews Christopher and Eric Rombakis.

Dena Was born and raised in Chicago, IL and graduated from John F Kennedy High School in 1970.

Dena was a very hard worker, and a remarkable negotiator. She worked in the banking and mortgage industry for the better part of 40 years and has an impressive collection of awards for excellent performance and / or top collector at a couple of different employers throughout her career.

She loved life and had a great sense of humor. In her off time, she loved spending time with her family and friends, eating at their favorite restaurants, going to concerts, watching movies, sporting events, and really enjoyed shopping.

She recently celebrated 40 years of sobriety and was very proud of that milestone and accomplishment.

Dena was loved deeply and considered to be a dear friend and second mother to many. She will be missed greatly by all that knew her.
