David Michael Loeltz, age 72, of Mesa, Arizona passed away on Monday, March 10, 2025. He was born in Reno, Nevada on May 6, 1952, to his parents, Omar and Thelma Loeltz and lived in Carson City while a young boy. He then moved to Yuma, Arizona and attended Kofa High School and then went on to study engineering at the University of Arizona in Tucson. After his schooling, David enlisted in the United States Navy and served his country for a few years. Following that, David moved to Mesa, AZ where he worked as an electrician working on new construction jobs and then retired.
In retirement, David thoroughly enjoyed his time on the lake fishing for bass and enjoying the beauty of nature around him. He alway said, "Everyday is a blessing to be alive". David's other hobbies included woodworking projects such as making clocks and jewelry boxes and also watching NASCAR races on Sunday afternoons. He will be remembered by many for his kindness and always having a smile on his face.
He is survived by his wife, Patricia Ann Loeltz of Mesa, AZ; and his three sisters, Dottie (Chuck) Riley of Tempe, AZ; Kathy (Jon) Keith of Bigfork, MT and Darlene (Jim) Boyd of Mesa, AZ.
