Darla Lynn Johnson of Apache Junction Arizona passed away on July 11th, 2024. Born on January 18th, 1956, she spent most of her life in Arizona, living in South Dakota for a period, and traveling to be with the grandkids she cherished as they came into the world. She was a selfless and loving wife, mother, and grandmother. Darla had a vibe that was uniquely her own, and we will miss her spirit and style. In a world full of conformity, she stood out, breaking barriers and living her life in a caring and independent way. If you were looking for her, she was probably at the pool, swimming laps or getting lost in a good book. If you wanted to talk to someone about cooking, growing plants, or music, she was your lady. If you needed someone to help you fix something around the house, or if you needed a set of hands to help work on your car or motorcycle, her sleeves were rolled up and she ready to jump in. But of all these things, Darla most loved spending time with her son and grandchildren; nothing brought her more joy. Darla is survived by her husband, Kenneth Johnson, son Hunter Johnson, daughter-in-law Jamie Johnson, and grandchildren Pearl, Bodhi, and Apollo Johnson; brothers Bill Bever, Zachary Bever and sister Stephanie Bever. She is proceeded in death by her father William, mother Beverly Ann and sister, Marla Bever, and granddaughter Ginger Johnson.
