Danny Frank Scott Sr.

Danny Frank Scott Sr., age 76, of Mesa, Arizona passed away on Monday, January 23, 2023. Danny was born in Glendale, California on November 3, 1946 and passed away in Phoenix, Arizona on January 23, 2023.

Danny was a Machinist most of his life and a Mesa City Bus Driver for seven years. He served in the United States Army from September 25, 1968 to September 24, 1970. He was a heavy truck driver for the 25th infantry in the Vietnam War. He attained the rank of E-5 and received several awards including the Bronze Star. He enjoyed attending Free Will Baptist Church from 2005 and loved listening to Misty, Ashley and Pam's singing.

He is survived by his wife, Delores, whom he had been married to for 51 years and his four kids; Danny Jr., Candy, Dustin, and Kenneth. He loved and was very proud of them. He was the grandfather of twelve; Tyler, Sayda, Caden, Boaz, Amos, Zion, Ezra, Audrina, Vidiana, Lorana, Raven, and Logen. Great-grandfather of three; Aaron, Lilyahnah, Layah.

He is preceded in death by his father, Charles, his mother, Willie Mae, his step-mother, Norma, and his two sisters, Sharon and Judy.

A visitation for Danny will be held Friday, February 10, 2023 from 11:00 AM, followed by a funeral service from 12:00 PM and military honors and reception to follow at East Valley Free Will Baptist Church, 2160 N. Power Road, Mesa, AZ 85215.

A committal service will occur Monday, February 13, 2023 from 10:00 AM at National Memorial Cemetery of Arizona, 23029 N Cave Creek Rd, Phoenix, AZ 85024.
