I worked with Colleen at Philips and she always made me laugh.  She was a wonderful person and always would greet me with a smile. She was one ingredient that made the work environment feel like family. I will never forget her.  God bless you Colleen.

I worked with Colleen for a few years and became long time friends with her. I am at a loss. She would always greet me with kinds words and a big smile.  She had such a wonderful heart and soul.  Will keep you in my thoughts and prayers my friend. 

Dear Colleen, today marks two months , since you went home to your beautiful picket fenced home  with a beautiful garden, your Tony by your side , and to our Heavenly Father.   There hasn’t been a day that I don’t think of you. Perhaps I’ll  laugh at some silly thought that crosses my mind  about something  we did or shared and realize that as much as I want to call you or expect the phone to ring and hear your voice at the other end,  it will never be.  I miss you, my friend.  I miss our talks and our ability to talk openly about anything without holding back or being judgmental.  Going through some papers,  I totally unexpectedly  came across the 2018 Christmas card from you with your picture and beautiful smile. It was a low day for me. After seeing your smile and reading the card, I truly believe that was your way of cheering me up.  It did bring tears to my eyes, but at the same time  I felt there was an upbeat  message from you.  Thank you, my friend.  It’s so you to be there when one of your friends needs you. That was one of the many gifts you gave all of us and more the reason why you are loved and missed!  May you Rest In Peace in Eternity. 🙏✝️💜

Colleen, my dearest friend. I miss you. I miss your true interest in keeping up our friendship since 1988 when I first moved to California. You helped me getting used to all the office rituals at Signetics were we both worked. We became friends forever and  since then we stayed in contact.  You went through life's challenges, and you had many,  without ever forgetting any of your loved ones and always kept a space for us somewhere in your big heart. Just a week before you left us forever we had a chat on the phone that lasted for more then an hour. I will always cherish that  last hour and I am so inconceivable sad that that has been the last time. I'll miss your warmth and genuineness but I am so glad to have known such a good friend. 


My big sister.  She was quiet about her daily routine which involved calling just about everyone in our family, every day! If there was a celebration, she put it together.  A family emergency, she was the contact and kept us all sane, and in the loop!  Holiday get-togethers with out of town guests, Colleen coordinated the whole thing.  I've always counted on these bits of my sisters' generosity, I just never knew how much.  
I am so proud to call her my sister, I am so proud of her sons and how she 'grew' these two fantastic guys, on her own and without ever sharing anything but pride and love for her family! 
Colleen had something special that most people lack, especially nowadays, empathy, and true love!  I miss you, my Big Sister!

Oh Lolly, I miss you so very much. I hope you're sitting on a front porch swing in the shade, with tulips blooming in the garden. 

Colleen was very dedicated to homeless dogs, and provided loving homes to several strays over the years. If you want to do something in her memory, a donation to an animal rescue charity such as SPCA would be perfect.
