Brittany Gayle Padilla was born on January 29th, 1987 and was adopted by Ann Marie Padilla and Fred Allen Padilla. She was raised in Gilbert, AZ with her older sister, Chelsea. She finally surrendered and passed away at her family home on April 13, 2024
She was always a very happy child. She was put into dance when she was 3 and did tap, jazz, lyrical, ballet and gymnastics until she was 18. She was also a competitive dancer, she participated in many competitions and always placed in the top 5! While she danced, she always seemed to shine just a little brighter than others. She was gifted that way.
Brittany was always one of the most popular girls in school. She was constantly surrounded with her friends. As she entered Gilbert High School, she decided to join the cheerleading squad and was a shoe-in because of her amazing ability to dance and do gymnastics. From the minute she was born she had the longest eyelashes and most strikingly beautiful face. She truly looked like a model and she took great pride in her outward appearance.
In 2011 Brittany became a mother to Mila Kate Padilla-Pry. She was always stunningly beautiful and that never faltered while she was pregnant. Becoming a mother was admittedly her greatest accomplishment in life. She believes she was born to become a mother to Mila, MK or Mila Bean as she refers to her sometimes.
While she did have her struggles, loving her daughter was the one thing that never changed. When you are bodily sick it consumes your life and the biggest bright spot was her daughter. She wrote letters, notes and made constant posts about the deep love she felt for her child. One of the posts that I love the most she stated "You are my love story, and I write you into everything I do, everything I see, everything I touch and everything I dream, you are the words that fill my pages and best of all fill my heart" That is her truth and the reality is that she loved Mila more than she loved anyone or anything, including herself.
She is survived by; her daughter, Mila; mama Ann, sister Chelsea, uncle Bill, aunt Shirley, best friend Lacey and many other friends and family members. She is preceded in death by; her puppy, Layla, her Grandparents, Catalina and Fred Padilla, Ruth and Keith Logan, her Uncle Oscar Padilla and, her Dad Fred Padilla.
Remember one of her favorite quotes. "I don't ask you to love me always like this, but I ask you to remember. Somewhere inside of me there will always be the person I am tonight." – F. Scott Fitzgerald.
As a good friend said, Fred watched her struggle the last couple years and called her to be with him and Layla. We know that she is no longer in pain, she is at peace with her Dad and Layla again. She is a beautiful example of humility and resilience. Her beauty and grace will never be forgotten. She truly only wanted the best for everyone in her life. Please remember her kindly and often. Remember her smile.
“You are the finest, loveliest, tenderest,
and most beautiful
person I have ever known–
and even that
is an understatement.”
- F. Scott Fitzgerald
