As I am just hearing about Bonnie's passing, it is with great sadness to only find out now in 2023.  Bonnie Mooreman was a strategic member of Companion Animal Association of AZ in the early days and our pet therapy program still exists today after 40 years.  She had been president, worked on the pet-grief support committee when it was just being organized plus hosted CAAA board meetings at her home.    She was willing to go on TV with her dog promoting CAAA.  Bonnie helped submit proposals for funding, helped update brochures and various other time consuming activities.  Bonnie did pet-therapy visitations with many of her dogs and cat.  Everyone thought she  was delight to work with.  She was a very compassionate person always helping others.   She will be deeply missed.

Very sad to hear about Bonnie's passing.  My wife, Michele Hankins and Bonnie kept in touch for 22 years after Michele relocated from Phoenix to Cheyenne, Wyoming to head up the U.S Trustees Office here.  We learned on November 9th, after trying a number of times the last few month to reach Bonnie by phone, that she had passed away last August.  No details as to what happened to her. Bonnie and I have been friends for over 25 years.  We kept in touch regularly by phone after I moved to Wyoming.  Bonnie was an animal lover and a kind and beautiful soul.  I called her for her birthday and left a message. She did not return my call, which was strange.  She had an old dog Auggie and a parrot Sundance.  If you know what happened to Bonnie and her furry and feathered friends please please let me know.  I miss her so much.
