born June 20, 1921 in Chicago, IL, passed away on April 6, 2012 in Mesa, AZ at the age of 90. Bernard served his country during World War II, serving in the United States Army Infantry, reaching the rank of Sergeant. During his tour of duty he received a Purple Heart and Good Conduct Medal. He was a loving, father, grandfather, great grandfather and friend and is survived by daughter Sue McQueen; son Den Clark and his wife Kaylin; grandchildren Robert McQueen and Kurt Clark; three great grandchildren Gabriel McQueen and Jackson Clark and Layla Lynn Clark, as well as many friends. A visitation will be held Wednesday, April 11, 2012 from 8:30 – 9:30 am at Mariposa Gardens Funeral Care 400 S. Power Rd in Mesa with a funeral mass following at Holy Cross Catholic Church 1244 S.
