Allan Carl DeCavage

Allan (Al) Carl DeCavage, age 85, passed away peacefully April 16, 2024 after a short illness. Al was born in Peckville, PA to John and Sophie DeCavage on January 31, 1939. Allan was preceded in by his parents, brother Martin DeCavage, and Jeanne Evans, mother of Jodi, Gary and Amy.

Al is survived by his loving wife of 45 years, Margaret Rose (Margie). Brother John Joe DeCavage (Nadine). Children Jodi Sheats (Woody), Gary DeCavage (Lisa), Amy Domiano (Chas Valenza), Bridget Biggs (Sindy Britton), Marian (Mimi) Glancy (Mark).

Grandchildren Samantha, Kaitlyn (David), Matthew (Raveena), Morgan (Billy), and Camryn, as well as two beautiful great-grandbabies Zuri and Trey; lifelong friend Spencer DeLancey from New Milford, PA.

Allan proudly served in the US Army. He was a Tool maker at General Electric Aerospace and Boeing. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, boating, swimming, hunting for gold in the Superstition Mountains, and bluegrass music. He was quick witted and had a special language only he and his family understood. He was by far the best bargain shopper that ever lived. No local services will be held at this time.
