Alice Mae Reynolds

In 1946 the Austin family moved to Livermore, California. During the early 50's, Alice welcomed 3 younger brothers, Gordon, Bob and Allan. In 1950 Alice started kindergarten at Junction Avenue School, and graduated 8th grade from that same school in 1959. In the fall of 59 She started High School at Livermore High School, and graduated in 1963. Alice then went on to Pasadena Nazarene College in Pasadena, CA.

In 1952 the Livermore Church of the Nazarene was started in the Austin family living room. Alice was 1 of the original 12 charter members.

During the mid 1960's Alice met Joe Smith at Church, and they started dating in the summer of 1967, they married in March of 1968. Together they welcomed 3 children, Amy Denise in 1969, Eric Neil in 1971, and Deanna Michele 1972. Alice & Joe divorced in 1977. Later that same year, Alice started in home daycare, which she continued until 1980 when she was hired at Lawrence Livermore National Laboratory. Alice retired from the Livermore Lab in August 1996. In September of 1996 She moved with her daughter, Anna to Chandler. Arizona to help care for 2 of her grandkids, Kayla and Joey. Shortly after moving to Arizona she met and started dating Richard Reynolds. June 1 1997, Alice and Richard were married, and Alice gained 3 sons, Joe, Nicholas & Richard. In 2000 Alice joined her husband in working at Phoenix Police Department. She was a Police Aide at the Awhatukee sub-station until her retirement in the fall of 2009. In December 2009 Alice became a widow, when her husband died of cancer. From 2010 thru 2017 Alice volunteered in the church office at East Valley Church of the Nazarene. During her volunteer time, she made some amazing friends, and Lynnette, Susan & Jackie became part of her extended family.

The fall of 2015 Alice was diagnosed with Leukemia and stage 4 renal failure, and December 2018 she was diagnosed with non-hodgekins Lymphoma. She passed away June 7 at 1154 PM.

Alice was proceeded in death by her Husband Richard,Son Nicholas and granddaughter, Kelsey.

She is survived by

Sons, Eric ( Erica) Smith, Joe Reynolds and Richard ( Paula) Reynolds.

Daughters, Amy Magee and Anna ( Bobby Cruz) Austin

12 Grandchildren and 4 great grandkids.
