On December 31, 2018, Alice Irene Allen Morrow Kelley passed on to join her husband Airman William J Kelley and other family members who preceded her in death. Alice passed peacefully at her home with her son and daughter in attendance. Alice is now reunited in love with family and friends.
Alice’s journey through life is as follows: She was born on July 29, 1933 in Tyron, Nebraska to Ross Albert Allen and Alice Fern Mann Salmon. In 1938 Fern married Fredrick Harold Morrow who adopted Alice. Alice and her husband, William were married in 1951 and were blessed with three surviving children, Wesley Kelley (Kathleen) of Connecticut, Byron Kelley of Mesa and Barbara Kelley Furst (Alfred) of Mesa, two grandchildren Matthew Kelley (Hibo) of Georgia and Sarah Kelley Reid (Carmichael) of New York, 4 great grandchildren, Nadifo, Zakariya and Gabriel Kelley and Jordan Reid. Alice is also survived by a brother Robert Morrow of Rapid City and a sister Stella Johnson of North Platte and many nieces and nephews.
When Alice married Bill they experienced many moves including Rapid City, Sioux Falls, Council Bluffs, Omaha, Ankeny, Harlan and Mesa.
Throughout Alice’s life, she could be found caring for up to eleven or more children at a time, doing bookkeeping for multiple companies and selling collectable whiskey bottles with her husband Bill Kelley. Alice had a long, healthy and happy life. She met a lifelong dream of travelling to England and Scotland and meeting Red Skeleton twice.
