Albert was born in Boulder, Colorado, the eldest of 3 children to Fernando and Eudelia (Salazar) Sosa. He grew up in Mesa, Arizona and attended Mountain View High School. Albert owned his own landscaping business, and was very proud of it. Albert was known to create and design unique landscaped yards. He loved cactus; repairing and raising cactus, building projects with concrete such as grills and patios. Albert also had a unique sculpting talent with creating concrete Angels. He also loved to write poems, loved Corvettes and 1980’s sports cars, classical rock and was described as a jokester, prankster, and the “funniest uncle ever”.
Albert is survived by his mother, Eudelia Sosa; daughter, Tristan Davie Lou Sosa, and sons Thaddeus John Sosa, Albert Jr. Sosa, Brandon Sosa; granddaughter Isabella Gautus; sister Elsa Sosa and brother-in-law Lupe Gloria; numerous aunts, uncles, nieces and nephews.
He is preceded in death by his father Fernando Sosa, his brother, John David Sosa, and his beloved dog, Pinwheel.
Visitation will be held on Friday, May 17, 2016, at Mariposa Gardens Memorial Park from 5pm until 9 pm. Recitation of the Holy Rosary will be at 10:30 am on Saturday, June 18, at St. George’s Catholic Church, followed by Funeral Mass at 11:00 am.
