Z was a great friend to me in grade school. I remember thinking she was super cool in 2nd grade and wanted to be her friend. Z was a wonderful person and a great friend we had lots of fun having sleepovers with  our friend group back then. visiting each other’s homes  and though we didn’t stay in touch through her journey I enjoyed spending time with her at rmre and the academy. 

thank you so much for sharing your beautiful Z with Abi and I. There are no words to help you only memories of the love she exuded daily. I will forever remember her cornering for me at the tap cancer out tournament and showing me what it means to be a fighter. 

When speaking of my students, current and former, I call them “precious“. Each are part of my family, regardless of whether we remain in contact or go our separate ways.   My students are all precious.  When I remember Zandra, I remember a hardworking student.  I remember one who gave everything  to everything.  I will miss her energy and drive.  I send you all my love and healing during this most difficult of time.  Prayers to you all. RIP, Precious!

The news of Z’s passing was heartbreaking to us all.  Please know that you are constantly in our thoughts, and that there is boundless love and prayer being sent from us all.

During Z’s celebration of life, we heard story after story of the beckon of light she was to so many, and as we looked around the beautiful garden service we saw 500+ people show up there because Zandra had touched each and everyone of their lives in some way. 

She loved fiercely, she fought bravely, she lived courageously, she made life better just by being around and did not give up even in her last moments.  This is something I know everyone will exemplify more each and everyday because of the amazing example your daughter set.  And when the 3 of you got on stage we immediately saw where Zandra continued to get her strength from throughout her battle.  It was from the example shown to her everyday by you 3.  As you spoke we could hear the pride in your voice as you spoke, see the love you had for one another as you comforted each other, the support as you put a hand on a shoulder or back and you displayed in that 15 minutes the same fierceness, courage and bravery we all saw in Z.  What a special family you have.  We are so proud to be an extension of that.

I know Zandra is now up in heaven  with her grandpa on some sandy beach  paradise and he is still probably unsuccessfully trying to learn how to snorkel, but with Z’s help I think he will finally master it.  

We love you Z. And we know we will see you again one day in heaven. Thank you for giving so much to so many during your 16 years with us all.  We will all cherish the memories until we see each other again. 

Z’s laughter, love, kindness, passion, love of Jesus and strength will live on forever because whoever you hold in your heart is forever and always a part of you.

God is within her she will not fail.

Dear Wade family, 
Z is with our Lord, Jesus Christ! We know this for sure because she asked Jesus Christ to come into her life and be in charge of her life, even before she was diagnosed! 

We thank her friends that took her to a retreat to the Young Life camp in Willams, AZ, where she met Jesus.

We know that you are hurting, can't imagine loosing a child! But she is with her Grandpa, Mike Giudici and all the other ones that went before her. She is comforted by Jesus. And Z is no longer in pain and she is waiting for you to be reunited again.

We are sorry that we are not able to come to the Memorial service on Saturday. But we are quarantined because of our age and because Richard had surgery this past Monday and I will have surgery on Wednesday.
