Peter Henry Clements, Jr. passed away Friday, September 20 in Merritt Island. He was 76.
He is survived by his wife, Deborah; sons Peter in Seattle, WA, and Joshua (Jennifer) in Debary, FL; and four grandchildren. He is also survived by his twin sister, Rosetta DeIulio (Joe) in Williamsburg, VA.
After serving ten years in the United States Marine Corps, Peter moved his young family to Merritt Island to participate in the Space Shuttle program. He worked for contractors, put in ten more years of government service at NASA, then worked again for contractors. He loved it. He retired a couple of times, then gave his time and service to the Veteran’s Center in Merritt Island, the Sunflower House, part of Aging Matters, and did taxes for the United Way. When he was home, he was at the computer either compiling experimental UNIX kernels, or writing apps for Android phones.
Per his wishes, there will be no services. He was loved.
