Laurênio Azevedo, a beloved husband, father, and grandfather, passed away peacefully, leaving behind a legacy of love, craftsmanship, and adventure. A gifted builder, Laurênio’s work was admired by many, but it was his passion for family and life that truly defined him. He was a devoted husband to his wife and a proud father to his three sons, with whom he shared countless cherished moments. His 11 grandchildren were his pride and joy, and he took great pleasure in watching them grow. Laurênio had a deep love for the water, spending countless hours fishing, a passion that brought him peace. His commitment to service was evident through his volunteer work with the Auxiliary Coast Guard, where he combined his love of the sea with a desire to give back to his community. A true adventurer at heart, Laurênio’s love for travel and new experiences was infectious. His joyful spirit, generosity, and dedication to those he loved will be deeply missed but fondly remembered.
A visitation for Laurenio will be held Wednesday, October 2, 2024 from 11:30 AM to 12:30 PM at Wylie-Baxley Funeral Home, 1360 N Courtenay Pkwy, Merritt Island, FL 32953. A funeral Mass will be on Wednesday, October 2, 2024 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at Divine Mercy Catholic Church, 1940 N Courtenay Pkwy, Merritt Island, FL 32953. A committal service will occur Wednesday, October 2, 2024 from 2:30 PM to 3:00 PM at Florida Memorial Gardens, 5950 US-1, Rockledge, FL 32955.
