Johnny Jerome Judson was born July 26, 1960 in Rockledge, FL. to Minnie Bell Williams and Johnny Judson. Johnny graduated from Cocoa High School in 1978, in which he then enrolled in the United States Army.
He went on to serve eight years total in the Army and Army reserves. Upon exiting the military, Johnny started volunteering in the community as a Pop Warner Football Coach. Johnny coached Cocoa Youth from 1980-1985. He then coached Pop Warner from 1985-1988 and finished off coaching Rockledge Youth from 1988-1995. He became known as Coach J to many.
Football was a passion of his and he loved being a mentor to all kids he came in contact with. Johnny then completed truck driving school and worked for ABC Land Clearing and drove Dump Trucks until he retired in 2009. Never wanting to give up coaching completely, he helped assist the Cocoa High School's Football program in 2013 until he went home to be with the Lord October 17, 2015.
He is survived by his wife Trina Judson, Father Johnny Judson and Step-Mom Dean Judson. Brothers; Bruce Judson(Tammy Judson), Torrey Judson(Mequisha Judson), Sam Gamble(Kietta Gamble), Vincent Hines (Tammy Hines), Lois Hines(Cheryl Hines), and Willie. Sisters: Rubina Judson, April Lanier(Raymond Lanier) and Daisy Flanders(Stacy Flanders). Four sons; Ricardo Judson, Dontray Judson, Johnny Judson Jr. and Christopher Judson. Two Daughters Monica Judson, and Brittany McCray; two grandson Timothy Patterson and Antonio Strickland Jr.; Three Granddaughters Kiana Judson, Amaya Patterson and Alasija McKinnon. Special Aunt Bennie Kirkland. Special Uncle Rubin Ervin, special friends; Majorie Bland, Johnny Lee Brookins, Roe Weaver, John Smith and Audrey Jefferson.
Visitation will be held Friday October 23, 2015 at Wylie Baxley Funeral Home Merritt Island from 4-6 pm. Funeral Services will be held Saturday October 24, at Wylie Baxley Funeral Home Merritt Island beginning at 5:00 pm.
