Elda passed away peacefully in Viera Fl, at the age of 93. She will be lovingly remembered by her son Paul Morris and daughter-in-law Arlene Morris, daughter Patricia Santo and son-in-law Peter Santo. Also survived by her grandchildren (the apples of her eye) Peter, (wife: Tania) Derek (wife: Michele) Santo; Amanda and Dylan (wife: Cara) Morris.

Elda was born in Brooklyn, NY and moved to the suburbs (West Babylon) in 1969. She retired from Chemical Bank in 1988, with 25 years as a manager of their Securities Department. Elda loved her church and spending time with family and friends.

Family and friends will be received at Chapey & Sons Funeral Home (1225 Montauk Hwy West Islip, NY 11795; Ph 631.661.5644). Sunday, October 15, 2023. Visiting hours are 2:00PM to 4:00PM and 7:00PM to 9:00PM. Elda’s funeral will be held on Monday, October 16th at St. Patrick RC Church, 9 North Clinton Ave., Bay Shore, NY at 11:00am. Interment immediately following at St. Charles Cemetery, Farmingdale, NY.
