Edward John Merritt, Jr., 54, of Merritt Island, FL passed away Sunday, July 31, 2016. Born in New York, Ed moved to Florida in 1995. He served in the United States Air Force.
Ed attended Divine Mercy Catholic Church. He enjoyed water skiing, boating, puzzles, and auto racing.
He was preceded in death by his father: Edward John Merritt. Ed is survived by his loving wife of 31 years, Mary; son, Jonathan; mother, Flora Merritt; sister, Renee Hayes; as well as many extended family members.
A visitation will be held Thursday, August 4, 2016 form 6-8PM at Wylie Baxley Funeral Home. A Funeral Mass will be held Friday, August 5, 2016 at 11:30AM at Divine Mercy Catholic Church in Merritt Island, FL.
