Doris R. Johnson, 100, of Rockledge, passed peacefully Thursday July 10, 2014.
She was born July 27, 1913 and was predeceased by her husband, Johnny Johnson in 1999; 3 brothers and 2 sisters.
Doris is survived by her daughter Kay Poole of Cocoa, FL; and several loving nieces and nephews.
Doris was a 1st Lieutenant in the Army and traveled extensively overseas.
Having lived in Rockledge since 1965 she was a long time member of the Cocoa/Rockledge Garden Club. She was an avid bridge player, gardener and loved to entertain.
Doris was a member of the Rockledge Presbyterian Church.
For the past 4 years she was a resident of “Casual Country Living” in Canaveral Groves.
