In 1989, he met Francine Labbate and they wed on October 24th, 1992, going on to have three children. Ben was a simple man but his kindness to others, along with his love, support and dedication to his family was proven and irrefutable. He taught us to follow our faith, always be kind to others, the significance of hard work, the importance of family, and to always cherish the little things in life.
After graduating high school, Ben was drafted by the US Army in 1971, and then stationed and served in Germany. Upon completing his Military Service, Ben moved to Florida where he continued his education at Florida Institute of Technology. He completed his Bachelors in Business Management and also received his pilot's license. Ben was always fond of aviation, working as a Project Manager in multiple Industries, with his final position in Aerospace. His career gave him the opportunity to travel and experience multiple wonders of the world.
Ben has always had a love for animals after growing up on a dairy farm in Pennsylvania. He loved the outdoors, enjoyed fishing with his children, boating, flying, and his morning walks.
Ben is predeceased by his parents, Ralph and Catherine Bride.
He lives on in the hearts and memories of his wife, Francine; three children Kelli (Samuel), Brian, and Benjamin; soon to be grandson; and his siblings, Mary (Hillary), Michael (Shirley), Patrick, David (Diane), Anne (Bill), Ralph, and Elizabeth (Douglas).
Those close to Ben will miss him dearly and know that he has found a special place in God’s loving arms.
A Celebration of Life for Ben is scheduled for November 18, 2023, 2 PM at Brevard Veterans Memorial Center.
