Allan Richard Goldenberg, 75, died peacefully on 8-20-13 with his family by his side. He was born in Worcester, MA and moved to Florida to go to the University of Miami. He then moved to Brevard County in 1963 to join the Space Program as an Electrical Engineer and Project Engineer with NASA where he worked for over 30 years. During that time, and after retirement, his passion was music and entertaining. He played clarinet and sang with the Bill Franz band on Gatsby’s Riverboat, Little River Queen, Cocoa Mardi Gras, Oktoberfest, and all around Brevard. He also played clarinet and sang at Heidi’s Jazz Club for the past 20 years every Wednesday and Friday where he made people very happy during happy hour. He volunteered with the Central Brevard Humane Society Jazz Band for many years to raise money for the animals. He also enjoyed being a Master Gardener. He was a wonderful husband, Dad and Grandpa and a true friend to so many. He will be missed by his wife of 50 years, Mardi, his 2 daughters and families, Mindi, Jodi, Barry & Adam.
