Timothy Alan Mayatt Sr.

Services will be held for Mr. Tim Mayatt Tuesday, December 27th, 1:00 p.m. at Stephens Funeral Home with Rev. James Black officiating. Burial will follow at Pleasant Ridge United Methodist Church Cemetery. Stephens Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.

Mr. Mayatt, 60, of Columbus, passed away at his residence Thursday, December 22nd.

Mr. Mayatt was known for his love of the outdoors. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, and shooting his guns.

He will be remembered most for the love he had for his family and friends.

He is survived by his granddaughter Addisyn Smith; brother Rick Mayatt and wife Darlene; nephew Lloyd Mayatt; aunt Fleeta Mayatt Mills; uncles Leonard, Gary, and Walter Dean; and special friend Linda Nichols.

He was preceded in death by his parents Maurice Mayatt and Leah Dean Mayatt; son Timothy Alan Mayatt Jr.; and daughter Stephanie Mayatt.

Visitation will be held one hour prior to service at the funeral home.
