Born January 8, 1937 in Coosa County, Alabama. Ann grew up in Gadsden Alabama. She married Bob Stallings and attended college at Meridian Jr College. She was a mom and housewife until her husband passed away and then worked at Austin’s retail for a number of years. She also volunteered at Rush Hospital for many years.
A devoted Christian, Ann always served the Lord wherever she lived. She attended Popular Springs Baptist church in Meridian.
Ann was a great cook and we all loved her meals and cakes through the years. She enjoyed her friends, gardening and was a Masters Bridge player. She had a wonderful smile that could light up a room and a great sense of humor.
She is preceded in death by her parents, Jack and IvaLee McDonald, her husband Bob Stallings, her youngest son Chris Stallings and her brother Harold McDonald.
She is survived by her children, Bobby Stallings of Chelsea, Al and his wife Pam, Sonya Tignor of Senoia, GA and her husband Mac and Crystal Stallings, Highlandville, MO. She was blessed with 7 grandchildren, Derrick Stallings, Shawn Stallings, Michele Stallings and Derick Jones of Chelsea, AL, Steve Tignor of Phoenix Az, Allen Tignor of Branson, MO and his wife Kara, Brian Tignor of Abilene, TX and his wife Rachel. She is also survived by one sister, Jackie Smith and several great grandchildren, cousins, nieces and nephews.
Arrangements have been made with Stephens Funeral Home in Meridian, MS for Saturday May 6 at 11am for visitation and 12 noon for services. Burial will be at Forest Lawn cemetery.
