Wanda Elaine Quinn was born in Eldridge, North Dakota to her parents, Art and Sadie Quinn on February 9, 1930. Wanda passed away on October 17, 2018 in Merced, California at the age of 88.
Wanda was a resident of Merced, California for over 26 years. Prior to Merced she lived in Honolulu, Hawaii for over 42 years. In her earlier years Wanda grew up in Wawona, California. She also attended Chowchilla High School. After graduation she obtained a degree in nursing and pursed her nursing career at St. Francis Hospital in Honolulu, Hawaii for over 40 years. In her off time she loved to bowl and was on many leagues and she loved to travel. Wanda was a very caring person and loved her family dearly.
Wanda is preceded in death by her parents Art and Sadie Quinn; sister LaVaughn “Dee Dee” Saulsbury; brothers William F. Quinn, Jerome Earl Quinn and many nieces and nephews.
Wanda is survived her sister Maureen “Susie” Duncan and Marilyn Alexander and many nieces and nephews.
A Memorial Service for Wanda will be on December 14, 2018 at 11:00 a.m. at Stratford Evans Merced Funeral Home, 1490 B Street, Merced, California.
