Uriel Chairez was born on September 14, 1989 to Miguel Benitez and Maricruz Chairez in Merced, California and went to be with the Lord on March 28, 2016 at the age of 26. He was recent job was working as a Certified Nursing Assistant at Merced Behavioral Center. He also worked for MedExpress through Riggs Ambulance. In past years Uriel volunteered for Cal Fire and was a Safety Team Member of Yosemite Church. Uriel accomplished his dream of becoming an Emergency Medical Technician and was awaiting his new position at Riggs Ambulance in April 2016.
Uriel is preceded in death by his great grandfather, Refugio Chairez; great grandmother, Juanita Hurtado-Chairez; great grandfather, Manuel Dominguez and his aunt, Amparo Silvia Chairez.
Uriel is survived by his wife, Jina Alasondra Chairez; daughter, Liana Kenya Chairez; father, Miguel Benitez; mother, Maricruz Chairez; brother, Miguel Benitez; sisters, Darlyne Miramontes, Jaylenne Miramontes and Julianna Benitez; grandparents, Guadalupe Chairez, Micaela Chairez, Maria Veliz, and Ramon Benitez .
Uriel searched for God his whole life and received the Holy Spirit which led him to find Apostolic Tabernacle Church, where he was baptized in Jesus name. Uriel was a wonderful man of God. He was bold in his faith, carried his Bible everywhere he went, and shared the Word of God with anyone that crossed his path. Uriel met his wife Jina at Apostolic Tabernacle Church. They were married on October 20, 2015. They spent five beautiful months together. Uriel was a precious gift to Jina. He inspired her every day and cherished her as his “Beautiful Queen”. Uriel has an 11-year-old daughter, Liana Kenya Chairez who he loves with all of his heart.
Amo y dedico su vida a Dios y a su familia. Era humilde y Dios le dio gracia. Tenia amor a sus semejantes, derramaba amor por todos lados. Amaba toda La Creacion de mi Padre Celestial. A visitation will be held on Friday, April 1, 2016 from 4:00–8:00 p.m. at Stratford Evans Merced Funeral Home, located at 1490 B Street, Merced, California. A funeral Service will be held on Saturday, April 2, 2016 at 11:30 a.m. at the Apostolic Tabernacle Church, 2745 CA-140, Merced, California, with burial to immediately follow at Merced District Cemetery
