Thomas attended local elementary school in Baltimore. He graduated from Douglas High School. He received his B.S. form Morgan State College and his Masters from Chapman College. He was raised a Methodist.
Thomas entered the Air Force and served in Guam, Korea, Vietnam and various bases throughout the U.S. He was a navigator and retired as a Lt. Colonel in 1972 at Castle Air Force Base in Atwater, CA. He worked as a Human Resource Officer at Cal State Stanislaus. He was also a Real Estate Broker.
Thomas was an avid golfer and loved Sunday dinners. He also loved educating other about investing and real estate. Thomas loved his family and friends. He had a great sense of humor, he never met a stranger.
Preceding him in death: his parents Thomas II and Natalie Parr: wives Betty and Janet Parr: daughter Cherly Parr, brother Ralph and sister Harret.
He is survived by his wife Lois Stanley-Parr; children Rodney Parr (Lake Forest, CA) and Russell Parr (Potomac, MD); Stepson Kara Hall (Fresno, CA); favorite Cousin Ronald Stewart (Parrish, FL) 13 grandchildren and 7 great grandchildren.
