Stephen Wayne Elder

Stephen lived in the Valley for much of his childhood and young adult years. In 2002 he moved to Texas and started Intelligent-Components, Inc. He contracted with companies such as Chase Bank, Jack Henry & Associates and Purple Mutt among others developing software for the banking industry and most recently encryption software. His fascination with computers started at the age of 10 when he learned to program some of the first PC’s to hit the market. His real passion, however, was music. He spent many hours with his turntables mixing and recording music and many more hours as a DJ at clubs and parties around the valley playing his

musical creations.

Stephen is preceded in death by his grandfather Alec Rusch and survived by his grandmother, Benita Rusch, parents; Ronald Wayne Elder of Fresno, CA and Sandra Kay Elder of Chowchilla, CA, brother; Marc Ryan Elder of Merced, CA, sister; Dawn Marie Zeller of Chowchilla, CA and daughter

A memorial service will be held Friday, April 29, 2016 at 3:00 p.m. at Stratford Evans Merced Funeral Home located at 1490 B Street, Merced, CA with a private burial to follow.
