Ronald Dean Wood was born on October 20, 1960 and passed away on January 24, 2020 in Modesto, California at the age of 59 years old.
Ronald was a truck driver for 33 years at McLane Pacific. He was also part of the Sonora Smoke Polers Gun Club. He was a great man, fantastic husband and father. He knew no strangers and showed love to friends. He touched many lives. He will be truly missed, especially for his laugh and smile. We thank God for the time we had with him.
Ronald is survived by his loving wife, Corbie L. Wood of 31 years; children, Ryan Douglas Wood (29) and wife Brittiany and Robert Derik Wood (27). Brother John Wood of Newman and sister Lynn Wood of Newman.
He is preceded in death by his parents Jo An Wood and Doug Wood.
A memorial service will be held on Saturday, February 1, 2020 beginning at 2:00 p.m. at Stratford Evans Merced Funeral Home, 1490 B Street, Merced, California.
