Robert Duane Cooper

Born in Merced, CA on May 4th, 1959, Robbie was the cherished child of Robert and Shirley Cooper. His upbringing revolved around the family dairy, where he cultivated a strong work ethic. He attended El Nido Elementary School and proudly graduated from Merced High School as part of the Class of 1977.

During his childhood, Robbie was actively engaged in various activities, including showcasing beef cattle in 4H, as well as participating in baseball and football.

His involvement extended beyond personal interests; he served as a football coach and dedicated board member at El Nido Elementary. Robbie had a deep passion for life, evident in his love for racing, beach trips, and unwavering support for the Raiders and Giants.

He leaves behind a legacy cherished by his children, Melanie, Bobby (Lulu), Robert Jr., and Carol, along with his 9 beloved grandchildren. Robbie is survived by his parents, Robert and Shirley, siblings David, Melinda (Dennis), and Stanley (John), as well as nieces, a nephew, aunts, uncles, and cousins.

Remembered for his tireless work ethic and dedication, Robbie will be greatly missed. A Celebration of Life to honor his memory will be held at the Hoffmeister Center on December 27, 2023, starting at 11:00 am.
