Rene Edward Krumm

Rene Edward Krumm was born on March 23, 1945 to Andrew Krumm and Phoebe Schlieper Krumm. He passed away on Tuesday, December 19, 2017 in Merced, California at the age of 72. Prior to retiring from Foster Farms as a welding supervisor, he worked for his brother Lowell’s farming operation and his first job at the age of 16 was as a bus driver for Merced High School District. He graduated from Merced High School in 1964. He was preceded in death by his parents. He is survived by his wife of 49 years, Cathy Sullivan Krumm, son Dennis (Allie Stefani) Krumm, grandchildren, Kayte Lynn and Kalven Krumm. Brothers, Lowell (Carol), Richard (Nancy), David, Michael (Donna) Krumm; sisters Merilyn Reitnauer, Eleanor (Alton) Sissell, and Emma Krumm Wenger as well as many nieces and nephews. A public visitation for family and friends will be held from 4:00 – 7:00 p.m. on Thursday, December 28, 2017 at Stratford Evans Merced Funeral Home, located at 1490 B Street, Merced, California. The Funeral Service will be on Friday, December 29, 2017 at 9:00 a.m. with internment following at Merced District Cemetery, located at 1300 B. Street, Merced, California. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to the charity of donor’s choice.
