Merle Vivian Lindsey

Before moving to Chowchilla in the year 2000, Mr. and Mrs. Lindsey lived in Salinas, California for 42 years. She was an active member of Cornerstone Church in Chowchilla. Merle Lindsey was known as a devoted housewife, mother, and homemaker. She was deeply loved by family and friends throughout her long life and will be dearly missed.

She was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Richard H. Lindsey who passed away October 21, 2009. Merle is survived by her three children: Mrs. Richele Hedberg of Chowchilla, Mr. Kirk Lindsey of Mariposa, and Mr. Chris Lindsey of Menlo Park.

She was a grandmother to Mike and Richele Hedberg’s two children: Casey and Lindsey Hedberg and also to Chris and Kerry Lindsey’s three children: Cameron, Sarah, and Luke Lindsey. She also became a great-grandmother to Casey and Kristen Hedberg’s three children: Reese, Beckham, and Knox.

All services were private.
